At the American Institute of Chemical Engineers 2019 Annual Meeting (November 14, 2019), signac maintainer Bradley Dice presented “Recent Developments in the signac Data Management Framework” in the session “Making Molecular Simulation a Mainstream Chemical Engineering Tool.” The talk (number 729g) covered new features and case studies of scientific research performed using signac to manage data spaces. Carl Simon Adorf presented “High-Throughput Data Generation and Analysis with the signac Software Framework” this week (December 4th, 2019) at the Materials Research Society Fall 2019 meeting. The poster was in session MT03, “Automated and Data-Driven Approaches to Materials Development - Bridging the Gap Between Theory and Industry.” Adorf’s poster (number MT03.10.15) focused on the topics of performant data management, efficient HPC workflows, reproducibility and collaboration, and case studies using the signac framework.
