signac logo, redesigned
Introducing our new logo for the signac framework:
The striped palette pays homage to our namesake, French artist Paul Signac (1863-1935), whose pointillist style involved placing points of color carefully on the canvas. Just as Signac’s colorful points produce an image, scientists combine carefully collected data points to form a scientific story. The palette’s disjoint lines and colors symbolize the variety of data that can be managed with the signac framework.
